Difference between hardware warranty when hardware is leased vs owned? Are stations physically wired or cloud based?

All our physical stations and service printers need ethernet connections, but the payment devices are all fully integrated on the point of sale. As for mobile devices, we have iPad minis with a case attached to a payment device that needs wifi for mobility.  

 

SmartTab is a hybrid system, where we have a local server, but you are able to access the web back office, you are able to run reports on a laptop, phone or desktop anywhere you have internet.
