Updating firmware on DF2g from iPads.
Requirements: Dynaflex II Go connected either via Bluetooth or USB connection. MagtekRMS V2 app.
The device must be paired with the app either via direct connection or Bluetooth.
(Note: This is only for Dynaflex II Go models. Please use Version 1 for iDynamo units.)
Start by exiting all programs on the iPad and locate the MagTekRMS V2 app on the home screen.
Upon opening the app, you should see a reader available in the center of the app. Select this device and click the connect button in the bottom left corner.
(Make sure you have selected the DynaFlex/DynaProx button at the top, as well as the Lightning/USB-C or Bluetooth button, depending on how the device is connected.)
Once the dialog box shows the device is connected to the app, select the device button at the bottom of the app.
Here you will simply need to click UPDATE. Make sure Firmware and CAPKS is enabled.
(Note: DO NOT press the Force update option at this time.)
Once you see Firmware is up-to-date in the dialog box, you are complete. Exit the app and reboot the iPad and you are done.
